(New Post)

So it seems that summer is winding down and fall is just around the corner... What will you add to your fall wardrobe to update your new fall look?

I want to say thank you to those people that came out and supported Shabby Chic Boutique this week & to those who helped me advertise by passing out my Shabby Chic Boutique Bracelets.  I greatly appreciate your support.  A special thank you to my model this week and to her mom for allowing me to post her pictures on Face Book.   This has increased the number of views and created more exposure to Shabby Chic Boutique.  I am grateful to have my family, friends and community support.

XOXO - Crystal

Painting of the building should be completed by the end of this week.  Wow! The bulding looks totally different, but in a good way.  It make the entire corner look so much brighter and cleaner.  Many gallons of paint can make a world of difference :-)  Next major step the roof - full demolation started today after the work permit was posted up on the door!  Hopefully the roofing will not take as long as the paint (so much paint).  Once the roof is installed work can begin on the inside.
I'm getting excited because my design ideas can run wild.  All those years of DIY channel will pay off!  I learned from all the best home improvements shows!  Hours of inspirations ideas fill my mind and notebooks.
I can't wait to start building and designin !

This blog is dedicated to the question I hear most when someone walks through the doors of Shabby Chic Boutique.  "What inspired you to do this?"
My inspiration ... My passion... design & creativity comes from wanting to create something brand new out of something that most people can't imagaine on their own. Fashion is only a small part of this picture!
Yes, I love to shop and yes I will drive for hours to find the best outlet malls around. But my boutique represents me as a designer, a small business owner and  as an individual.
My vision first came about from wanting to shop, but getting tired of traveling almost every weekend out of town.  Friends and yes even complete strangers would ask me where I purchased my clothes.  This repeated question put the thought into my head that I should open my own "boutique."  And  two years later - Shabby Chic Boutique was born.
What  I learned from this experience is that if you can visualize something that you  truly are passionate about never hold back.  I believe that if one is willing to invest quality time and effort into everyday experiences and in life then the possibilites of what one  can achieve will be endless.
